We couldn't be happier - just this morning: I was able to unload the dishwasher-kids could eat their breakfast at the table without the dog stealing- she left the stuff on my counters! My two yr old still has his "blankie & pacifier" she didn't steal!! Oh and the bungee cord has been taken off the garbage can. It is amazing!!! We seriously couldn't be happier. Before opening Enlightened K9 four years ago, I spent four years working at a dog daycare and training facility gaining experience with dogs that most daycares simply do not accept. Many dogs that were labeled aggressive or fearful were given the opportunity to socialize among other dogs in a stable and well balanced environment. These dogs are often misunderstood and when advocated for and given proper guidance, can socialize as well as, if not better than other dogs! I have also traveled the country attending different dog training seminars taught by world renowned trainers and behaviorists. I thoroughly believe in continued education. No trainer can claim that he or she has nothing left to learn.My entire life I have been in a home of at least four dogs. I have fostered many dogs, assisting different organizations in the rehoming process. Yes, even the hard-to-work-with dogs are able to be placed in new homes. I believe the most important piece of information I have learned over the years is that when all of the small things that matter immensely to the dog are focused on daily, all other behavior issues evaporate naturally.
